What do you expect from the designers of the Middle East's biggest mall with 12 million square feet area, which houses the Tallest Performing Fountain in the World, 1200 stores and more than 160 food outlets?
To start with, DORMA had to supply 120 numbers of ES 200 automatic sliding doors within a period of 1 month. With confidence given to them by DORMA, the client placed the order with us and we executed the project seamlessly.
DORMA was also posed with a challenge to design enormous automatic sliding doors which were 5.5 metres tall, 3.5 metres wide, and weighing 1 tonne each leaf. These massive doors were to adorn the huge entrances to the Gold Souq area of the mall. There were 8 entrances in total.
DORMA's Project Management Team, with the unique capability of bringing up the best of every division of DORMA, ingeniously synchronised features of Movable Walls, Automatic doors and Security divisions, realised the challenge. These impressive doors stand proof to the well said USP of DORMA – 'All integrated solutions under one roof'. Moreover, DORMA's Service and Installation department executed the project to perfection.
We also supplied several floor closers and fittings for individual outlets of the mall.
