Arabian sensations

A new 36-storey building – a hotel, residential and office complex – spectacularly dominates the skyline of Dubai.

The design of architects Khatib & Alami is reminiscent of a Barajeel, the traditional Arabian wind tower.

It features a curtain wall façade and is clad with Portuguese rosa porino granite. And five kilometres of neon tubes plus 136 light prisms illuminate the tower with a display of 1,001 colours. more…
